UK-bred, Berlin based Emil Lewandowski has been producing electronic club music as Neinzer for over 10 years now. With an interest in curvaceous sounds as well as abstract and hallucinogenic timbre, Neinzer spends his days dreaming and producing sonic architecture.

Since 2013, Neinzer has released four vinyl-only records, one on Deep Moves and three on London’s Yumé Records. With the release of his latest EP “The Beacon / The Fear”, Neinzer found himself garnering a lot of attention, even before the record’s release. Taking found sounds from the city he lives in “The Fear” explores themes of personal desire and the fear of failure. Juxtaposing this, “The Beacon” employs a heavily resonated rain sample to create a dreamier work, centered around a throbbing bass line and aerodynamic chords. The record was selected by Ben UFO for his RA 500 Podcast and was also declared as “the best tune I’ve heard this year” by Whities label head Tasker in an article published by The Guardian.

Neinzer’s music continues to be played by many of the best DJ’s around, including Four Tet, Ben UFO, Bradley Zero, Bake, Tasker, Jackmaster, James Priestley, Michael Yumé and Gilles Peterson.

Neinzer is always working on different projects, continuing to adhere to his most frequent description of himself – “My artistic preference is always changing, like myself.”
